The Inductor Glass Blaster is perfect for removing windshields and other bonded auto glass, SMC panels, metal bond adhesives, undercoating, appliqués, and spray-on bedliners in a fraction of the time it takes using other tools.

The Glass Blaster removes windshields from outside the vehicle in less than 15 minutes with no need to remove the interior trim because it releases urethane in hard-to-reach areas (curves and deep pockets) where other glass tools can’t go. There is no damage to the encapsulant or frit (blackout masking). Quarter glass can be removed in less than 3 minutes. Spray-in bedliners can be removed in just a few hours.

The Glass Blaster is comprised of the Inductor^® Max high performance induction heater hardwired with the Glass Blaster attachment, mounted in a portable toolbox.

So far this tool has been one of those tools you must have. I used it to remove fuel tank strap nuts that were rusted, I was very surprised how quickly the nuts heat up. I had to rotate a lever on a shaft that was frozen in a tight area surrounded by fiberglass. I was able to wrap the coil around the shaft and applied heat, made the job easy. Overall this tool is one that is a must have!

Ever since repairing two induction bearing heaters for a friend, I have been intrigued with the principle. When the opportunity came up to purchase a Mini-Ductor II with additional coil set at a price I could afford, I went for it, realizing there were specific applications where my torch either could not be used or its proximity to combustibles was not safe to use. This is the single best tool I’ve ever used. I use this on new cars as well. Seat-belt bolts are very tight. I’ll put a T-50 [screw head] on a seat bolt, and I lean on it, and I know I will break it or break my tool. After the second time I used the Mini-Ductor II, it paid for itself. Straightening a bent sway bar, on the vehicle, without removing it took 10 minutes. Would have been a one hour repair otherwise. The second time rivets in a ball joint on a 15 year old truck would not come out. Heated them to “cherry red” in less than a minute, and were removed effortlessly. Have been in the auto repair business for 33 years and I wish I would know about it sooner.

Today was the first time I used my Mini-Ductor Venom. I was working on a 14 year old van doing exhaust work. The Venom got all the nuts red hot in seconds and they came off very easily. I like the Venom because I do not have to worry about damaging other components or setting things on fire as you would when working with an acetylene torch in tight places.
