Coils & Accessories

While you cannot purchase the insulation from us, you can purchase replacement coils here.

Each coil can last for several hundred uses or more. Using a coil that is properly sized for your application, avoiding abrasion and overheating will prevent premature wear to the coil. Be sure to leave a small gap between the coil and the nut or bolt being heated. For more info, watch this video.

If your coils become blackened and/or frayed they need to be replaced. The coils will brown to burn off the coating on the fiberglass and then it will turn white. Be sure that the copper is not being exposed. Click here for good coil usage.
