We want to thank everyone who purchased a Special Edition Pink Mini-Ductor® Venom® HP this month and supported us in our efforts to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.
The Power of Pink
This is the second year Induction Innovations has donated to the cause, but the first that we have featured a Mini-Ductor with pink accents. Because we’re increasing ways to benefit breast cancer research, we want to provide a little background on the reasons behind our efforts!
How Did This Idea Get Started?
We started our breast cancer foundation donations last October when we donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. An employee here at Induction was referred to this organization by a friend who used it as a resource when he was diagnosed with breast cancer. It is a great organization and it hits close to home.
What is the American Breast Cancer Foundation?
The American Breast Cancer Foundation provides “education, access and financial assistance to aid in the early detection, treatment and survival of breast cancer for underserved and uninsured individuals, regardless of age or gender.”
They aid “patients in finding local facilities and assistance in their areas while also providing access to the needed resources, services and support.” They also focus on providing “resources and information that is ethnically and linguistically appropriate to the needs of the individual.”
How Can You Get Involved in Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
There are a couple of ways you can be involved in Breast Cancer Awareness Month; you can purchase a Pink Venom HP with a portion of your sale going to the ABCF or you can go to abcf.org and donate on their website. Induction Innovations cares about giving back to the community and helping charitable organizations. We’re excited about the opportunity to give back this month. We thank you again for your support and we hope to do the same next year!
