Mini-Ductor Venom Awarded PTEN Innovation Award
PTEN Magazine Selects the Mini-Ductor® Venom™ Portable Induction Heater as a 2016 Innovation Award Winner
Elgin, Illinois – August 5, 2016 – Induction Innovations, Inc. today announces that the Mini-Ductor Venom portable induction heater has been selected for a 2016 Innovation Award by PTEN. Venom was selected from 111 product nominations.
PTEN Innovation Awards
Evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of technicians and shop owners, the PTEN Innovation Awards recognize the most innovative products introduced in the last year to the automotive aftermarket. These tools, introduced or significantly updated within the last year, are evaluated based on their ability make vehicle diagnosis and repair easier and more efficient, and make shops more productive.
Mini-Ductor Venom
Launched in July, the newly designed Mini-Ductor induction heater has real bite. As with its legendary predecessor and patented industry leader, the Mini-Ductor II, Venom generates Invisible Heat® to release ferrous and some non-ferrous metals from corrosion and threadlock compounds without the dangers of open flame and up to 90% faster – 3/4″ nuts are turned red hot in less than 15 seconds.
“We are very proud to have won our Innovation Award from PTEN,” said Tom Gough, president of Induction Innovations. “It’s especially gratifying because, with its seven new features, the Mini-Ductor Venom allows professionals to repair vehicles and equipment faster, safer and more profitably, and to salvage parts normally discarded even more than the Mini-Ductor II – and very much in the spirit of the Innovation Awards.”
